Chinese farmer takes to the road in wind powered car

An innovative Chinese farmer has created a car powered entirely by wind, which he claims can reach speeds of around 90mph.

Tang Zhengping, from Beijing, spent three months creating the bizarre-looking contraption, which is 1m tall and 3m in length. As well as running on batteries, it also features electric generators and a fan on the front panel, along with special solar energy 'wings' to back up the electric power source. Tang has claimed that the motor is superior to electric cars - which have been increasing in popularity in recent years - due to its ability to reach faster speeds. 'It goes at a maximum speed of 140kmph and lasts longer than a normal electric car, which doesn't usually have generators,' Tang explained. The two sets of generators and batteries charge in turn while the other is working.The farmer added: 'The fan and the wings provide extra electricity when the car is in motion, and the batteries need a recharge every two or three days.'

قام المزارع الصيني تانغ جيا تشنغ بينغ من بكين بصناعة سيارة تعمل بطاقة الرياح ، و الذي يدعي بأن السيارة يمكن ان تسير بسرعة 900 ميل في الساعة .و قد أمضى تانغ ثلاثة أشهر في صناعة هذه السيارة الكلاسكية المظهر ، و التي كذلك تعمل أيضاً على البطاريات ، فهي تتميز أيضا مولدات كهربائية و مروحة على الواجهة الأمامية ، و بالإضافة الى أجنحة خلفية تعمل بالطاقة الشمسية كطاقة احتياطية و كمصدر إضافي للطاقة الكهربائية .و أضاف تانغ أيضاً ” بإنه يقوم بإعادة شحن بطاريات السيارة كل يومين أو ثلاثة أيام لتعطي المروحة و الأجنحة الكهربائية الطاقة اللازمة في حال وجود ضعف ما في اي طاقة لتسير السيارة دائما .
