Rare Stones Are Silent Poems ( Pictures )

Nestled in a corner of the famous Huguosi Hutong in downtownBeijing few realize there is a museum just a stone’s throw away. Walking intothe Tianming Rare Stone Museum feels more like entering a small room crowdedwith dull rocks than entering an historical institution. But as soon the ownerLiu Tianming polishes the exhibit, the magnificent objects dazzle the eyes asthey glisten in the light.

"Nowadays, youngpeople seldom visited here. Even my daughter doesn’t like to look at them, butthe stones have accompanied me for like a whole life", Liu said. BeijingerLiu, 50, started the museum in 1990s to share his love for rare stonecollections. "To have a good taste of rare stones, you have to know art,painting, and poems, even esthetics. It’s not easy," Liu said he used togo to college to learn Chinese painting before he fell in love with rarestones.

Liu said every yearhe spends four months searching for rare stones of various sizes and unusualshapes all across China. "Each time I enter a mountain, I only take waterand bread with me. I may stay in the mountains for days just to try my chanceto find a beautiful stone," Liu said, "when I get a rare article, Iwill wash it and give it a massage with Vaseline to make it look healthy,"he added. In 1998, Liu found a rare kind of stone mixed with red strips inBeijing’s suburbs and he named them Rose Stones for its unique color.

في زيارة خاصة لمتحف الأحجار النادرة الذي يقع في الصين في زاوية منمدينة هوتونغ الشهيرة وسط بكين , ومن خلال المشي في متحف الأحجار النادرة كأنكتدخل غرف مزدحمة تحكي كل غرفة قصص وروايات يقول ذلك ليو تيان مالك ذلك المعرض حيث يقومبتلميع الحجارة , بدأ ليو  ذو الخمسين عاماً حياته بدراسة الفنون ,  وقد بدأ حبه وولعه في جمع الحجارة النادرة عام1990 ويقول أن يمضي أربعة أشهر من كل عام في البحث عن الأحجارة النادرة من مختلفالأحجام والأشكال غير العادية في جميع أنحاء الصين , ويقول أنه خلال رحلة البحث عنالأحجار النادرة خلال الجبال لا يأخذ معه سوى الخبز والماء لعدة أيام , وبعد أنيجد الأحجار يقوم بتنظيفها وغسلها وتلميعها بالفازلين , بصراحة تستحق تعب البحث ومنخلال مدونة العالم في صور تقدم إليكم بعض الصــــــــــور من أحجار المتحف
