Samsung Galaxy Note, the smartphone with the biggest HD Super AMOLED display

Samsung has chosen the IFA Berlin to launch its new smartphone Samsung Galaxy Note. The conflict with Apple and complaints coming from the iPhone maker about the lack of originality of Samsung smartphones and tablets have not impressed the Korean manufacturer, which proves that it has sufficient resources to come up with new products.

According to Samsung officials, Galaxy Note (only 9.65 mm thick) is a new product category that combines the benefits of the various existing mobile devices with the portability feature of a smartphone.

Its main feature is the 5.3 inch display HD Super Amoled – the biggest display of a smartphone at this time. It offers high clarity, better than common HD screens, with a viewing angle of 180 degrees, which allows information to be shown in a comfortable way.

The high resolution screen provides a comfortable viewing of PowerPoint presentations, web pages, new applications and e-books with minimal scrolling and zooming. When minimizing the windows to change pages, the display is large enough to allow significant division operations on the screen between the most common applications used.

The S Pen advanced technology is combined with the full touch screen, generating a higher level of control for the user. Increased functionality of the stylus helps creating accurate drawings and write quickly notes or ideas.

Also, Samsung has included the S Planner, a professional tool highlighted by the device’s large screen. Management of Planner function includes the list of notes and calendar; the intuitive control and navigation helps users to organize their schedule in detail.

The Galaxy Note comes with S Memo, a multimedia application designed to record all content created by the user.

حققت أجهزة الكومبيوتر اللوحية نجاحاً كبيراً خلال عمرها القصير منذ أن أطلقت آبل جهاز iPad أواخر العام الماضي، وكانت ميزة هذه الفئة الجديدة من الأجهزة أنها تملأ الفراغ بين جهاز اللابتوب وجهاز الموبايل، لكن شركة سامسونج تعتبر أن هناك فراغاً جديداً يجب ملؤه بين أجهزة الموبايل وأجهزة الكومبيوتر اللوحية فأخرجت لنا جهاز Galaxy Note

جهاز Galaxy Note هو جهاز موبايل بشاشة كبيرة حجمها 5‪.‬3 إنش، فلا هي بحجم صغير يجعلها قريبة من حجم أجهزة الموبايل ولا هي بحجم كبير يجعلها أقرب لأجهزة الكومبيوتر اللوحية! يأتي الجهاز الجديد بمعالج 1‪.‬4 جيجاهرتز مزدوج النواة ورامات 1 جيجابايت مع ذاكرة داخلية 16/32 جيجابايت، ويعمل الجهاز بنظام تشغيل أندرويد 2‪.‬3. وكأغلب أجهزة سامسونج الجديدة يتميز الجهاز بشاشة WXGA بتقنية Super Amoled فائقة الوضوح بجودة 1280×800.

يتميز Galaxy Note كذلك بوجود قلم للرسم والكتابة وهو مفيد لأولئك الذين يكرهون تقنية اللمس ويفضلون طرق كتابة الملاحظات القديمة يحتوي الجهاز على كاميرا خلفية 8 ميجابكسل وكاميرا أمامية لمحادثات الفيديو بجودة 2 ميجابكسل , كل هذه المميزات الرائعة تأتي في جهاز سمكه 9‪.‬65 ملم فقط ووزنه 176 جرام (وزنه معقول نسبياً).

لم تصدر أي معلومات عن السعر أو موعد ظهوره في الأسواق، وإن كان مسؤولو سامسونج صرحوا بأنه قادم خلال “الشهور القادمة”. وهذا الفيديو هو العرض الرسمي للجهاز من سامسونج , يبدو الجهاز مُحيراً إلى حد كبير، فلا هو جهاز موبايل بشاشة صغيرة ليسهل حمله والتنقل به، ولا هو جهاز تابلت بشاشة كبيرة لراحة أكبر في التصفح والاستخدام!
